Omg when you're in the need for some good home style bbq with the touch of family love this is the place to go. Omg did I say their desert bar is to die for lol.

I've eaten at excellent BBQ restaurants from Florida to California and cook my own, and this place was top 2 if not the best I've had. Even with the quarantine the service was great and the food was better. Tender brisket, juicy pulled pork, and the turkey was like butter. I'll come back from south Texas any time for this BBQ!

Went ordered the rob ends and they were so good. O ate them and then went and ordered the rob dinner to take with me Mmmm good. Go in for ribs.

Would have given 5 stars if the original owner was still there.... that was the best BBQ ever... this one is pretty good.... but not quite the same

I think this is one of the best kept secrets in town! The BBQ is exceptional and you must try the rib ends!! The staff is all so friendly and don’t forget to treat yourself with one of their cakes!!

Went in ther waited in line more than 10 minutes. Finally get to the front only to be told they have no brisket. What kind of bbq place has no bbq brisket?

Very open and inviting place, greeted when you come in. Family restaurant feel straight when you walk in. Plenty of options to choose from all the classic dishes but plenty of combos to pick what to eat. Great prices, food is delicious. Ribs are the full ribs not the trimmed 2 bites you get from these chain restaurants. Even the lunches are full meals and come with a drink. Great spot to eat.

Pretty good BBQ. I ordered the 3 meat plate that comes with 2 sides and a bread of your choice which is moderately priced around $15. I got what was apportioned to 2 ribs, 2 smoked sausages, and about 8 slices of Brisket which is an abundance of food! Overall, the meat is flavorful and the spicy bbq sauce is nice with just a hint of heat. The baked beans are very good as is the coleslaw. I chose the cornbread, which is sweet and moist and very pleasing! The only drawback that I had, and this is a preference issue, is that the brisket could have been cooked a little longer for tenderness. It didn’t matter enough for me not to finish my meal though! Overall, 2 thumbs up! Give them a try!

Mom and Pop BBQ down by the medical complex in Oklahoma City. The ribs are excellent, brisket amazing AND there is a whole shelf of delicious homemade desserts. The address is on Culbertson, but the restaurant is just west on NE 16th street. Enjoy!!

Almost drove by thinking I had missed it, am really glad I didn't . Food was great and the staff was very nice. Many have commented about the greens, yes they are "Marvelous Greens", don't skip the greens for a side. Portions were plentiful. Whenever I am back near OK Capital building I will stop by here for a bite. I can't say it is the best in OKC , i have not eaten them all , but this is very good.

This is a decent (hole in the wall) BBQ spot! It's a cool place for lunch but wouldn't go there for dinner

Good prices, ok Bar-B-Q, and horrible service. The lady on the phone acted like i was bothering her by making an order and even worse in person. The guy who gave me my order was very polite.

George’s Happy Hog Bar-B-Q was something we were looking forward too, but it was not what we expected. The food was extremely underwhelming the chopped brisket was not hot, and the sauce was just ok. The Mac and Cheese that was a special for the day was watery and lacked any flavor. Very disappointing.

It was some tasty reasonably priced barbecue.

Wonderful food and the best people. I could go on and on about the rib ends and the greens but the staff and ownership are so great. Walk in and feel like family.

I stopped here with my Dad after my appointment at the VA hospital and man was I surprised at the level of love that goes into their meats! The sides were delicious, the Sweet Tea was cold and not too sweet, overall it was a good place and will be going back soon!

Had a great chopped brisket sandwich with green beans and some hot links. The meat is tasty and the people are nice.

A good friend of mine happened to stumble upon this place while looking for a place to eat. He found it on Google maps. This place is so good! I have only had 2 things on the menu. Rip meat sandwich and chopped brisket sandwich. They were both delicious. Don't get me started on the German chocolate cake and the brownies. OMG the brownies are so good. The people there that run the place and the entire staff are incredibly friendly and smile all the time and really appreciate the business that they get. I hope this place doesn't go anywhere because I will continue to show my support for these guys and gals.

Overall, not bad. The meat is tasty but not smokey. The portions are large. The restaurant could use some tlc. Staff were not customer friendly, not that they were rude or mean, they just weren’t customer engaging or outgoing.

Stopped here while nearby during lunch. You go in and walk up front to the cashier to place your order, might be line but it moves quickly. Friendly staff, prices are fair for the portions of food. Wife had the rib dinner with 2 sides; green beans had good southern style flavor, potato salad looked like mashed potatoes but tasted like creamy deviled eggs; I like it. I had the sliced brisket lunch, had about 5-6 slices of good tender brisket but could’ve been moister and one side choice which I had the homemade coleslaw which was good and fresh. Overall it was decent.
